When I was a child my Uncle Ted used to take cold baths every morning - winter and summer. I was told he enjoyed them very much though I didn't quite believe my father - not when you heard all the shrieking he made as he stepped into the cold water. I hadn't thought of Uncle Ted in years - until I found myself under the cold darts of my shower these past couple of days. Funny how the minds works. Anyway, our boiler is now fixed and we again have the luxury of hot water. "Ca Marche!" said the engineer when he appeared from our cellar. Nigel and I almost embraced the poor man but being British we didn't and just shook his hand instead.

Yesterday I found time expanding still further. Having created one new website - today I create another one. Originally we thought that just one website for the business would suffice. However, as time passed and we developed further business ideas, we realized it would be best to have 'satellite', or dedicated, sites to explain our work in more detail. Well, that's my excuse. But it does make everything more logical. Another excuse . . .

Just when I think I'm nearing the end of one project - it suddenly expands like an accordian. This all smacks of Parkinson's Law (work expands to fill the time available for its completion) of course, but it is so scarily true. This weekend I was that close on finishing the updates to our Barkers website. Silly me.
